Weaver Orthodontics is located in Southern Pines North Carolina and sits in the shadow of Fort Bragg, one of the largest military installations in the United States. As such, a large percentage of patients seeking orthodontic treatment in our area are military dependents and have dental insurance through United Concordia (UCCI). While many dental offices in the area take UCCI and will file insurance claims for you, not all providers are participating providers.

Dr. Weaver is a retired Army officer with over 20 years of service and is a participating provider (in-network) with several insurance companies, including UCCI. That means Weaver Orthodontics is under contract with UCCI to only charge the contracted fees. This will usually save covered patients money. Non-participating providers are under no such contract and can charge their usual and customary fees. This means patients with UCCI will have higher out-of-pocket expenses at an out-of-network practice.

Upon contacting our office to set up a new patient examination, our administrative staff will get your insurance information from you and verify your exact coverage and remaining benefits prior to your scheduled new patient exam. That way, we can provide you with an exact quote for any proposed treatment to include what your insurance will cover and what will be out-of-pocket expenses.
