Comprehensive Orthodontic Treatment
Comprehensive orthodontic treatment involves the correction of multiple dental problems existing in both the top and bottom teeth simultaneously.
The objective of comprehensive treatment is the full correction of all components of a malocclusion (bad bite). This type of treatment is typically undertaken in patients with all or most of their adult teeth fully erupted; adolescent to adult patients.
Common dental problems corrected with comprehensive treatment include overall crowded or spaced teeth, excessive overbites or underbites, crossbites, and poor smile esthetics.
